Today, my inbox had an e-mail newsletter from HBO. And not just your average newsletter, but one devoted totally to our favorite show! HOW EXCITING! Yes, I am getting a little bit over excited, but excuse me, when it is titled the Entourage Summer Encore, I get tingles down my spine.

On a side note, I discovered an interesting blog post about the location of our own Vinnie Chase’s first place in Hollywood, yes, someone actually visited the site and took photos! How cool! Check it out here.

About a month ago we saw Entourage: Hollywood Minutes 1, a highlight reel of the Best Of Season 1 and HBO has just released Entourage: Hollywood Minutes 2, featuring the Best of Season 2 in just under 3 minutes.
Now using our own genius, we can safely say that around September we will definitely be seeing the new season! In July we should get a lovely highlights reel of Season 3, and August of Season 4, how wonderful!

I suggest you see it before HBO rubs it out, just like they did with the previous vid.

With the success of Sex And The City Movie, and Mark Wahlberg talking about a possible Entourage movie or TWO?!, I have no doubt that there will be an Entourage movie out in the next couple of years.

It sounds fun,but we need to look at the Sex and the City series. It hasn’t had anything new since early 2004, and the movie rumor has been around for that long. A recipe for success.

Now to make a movie while Entourage was showing, would be a risk. But if they combined one of the movie releases with the actual plot (a la Medillin, the Pablo Escobar movie) of one of Vincents movies, now that would be cool.

HBO just released a new video on their Youtube Channel entitled Hollywood Minutes 1, with it’s description:

A biased opinion maybe, but we are the fans that truly adore Ari and Entourage. So read this article, get passionate and voice your opinion! Here is an excerpt:

The news spread around, we all got excited, especially as an iPhone/iTunes user myself, but at this point in time, no Entourage on iTunes yet. Although the release of the entire series is inevitable.

Yet it was a surprise that it’s still not on Apple’s shelf.
My only guess is that everyone is waiting for Entourage to be released so it is a draw card for HBO. And as reported there won’t be a new series till September, so it gives them a few months to slowly release the series in to the wild.

Exciting stuff anyhow, in this slow news realm of Entourage.
I’m sure our pals over at The Wire F*cking Fan Club will be ecstatic.

Time to feature one of our favorites in this series - Mandy Moore. Mandy has one hot booty, but very sophisticated and too mind-numbing for our Vinnie. I still think Vinnie preferred Sophie Monk. I guess the producers decided on that one?!

To give something back to Mandy, she did have a closer relationship with our Vincent, although lust was most definitely involved.

Mandy definitely ticks the boxes to be part of the Vinnie’s Girls entourage. Would be nice to see her back again in an episode or two.

Quirky opinionated article (see here) about the possible future happenings on current TV shows.

Talks about the failing HBO with the end of great series such as The Sopranos and The Wire, hanging on by the mere fact they still have Entourage. I’ve always thought HBO had some outstanding series made with big budgets and cinema quality execution.

But to be honest when you are up that high, there has to be a time when it simply doesn’t produce. Here’s an interesting quote from SFGate (see above link):

…”Flight of the Conchords” is a cult hit and “Big Love” is an underappreciated gem, but they are not the kinds of series that will make people shell out for premium cable prices. “Entourage” still is, but HBO clearly needs to build around its success…

Kind of nice to see Entourage being appreciated in this long lull.

Kristin at E! Online has a scoop with Doug Ellin spilling some beans about Entourage Season 5. Finally some exciting news, although bringing back Dom with terminal cancer doesn’t sound like the most riveting storyline.

A summary of what might be is below or read here to go into the tidbits.

1. Season 5 could be longer than 12 episodes - if HBO orders more
2. No Writers’ Strike will be written into the plot
3. Dom might be back - with terminal cancer, as actor Domenick Lombardozzi is good friends with Doug Ellin
4. Entourage Season 5 will air in September

And the big one which will excite all Entourage fans

(Doug) Ellin says he has four more seasons of scandalous behavior in reserve, insisting that Entourage will probably run through year eight.

It has been a while.
Melyssa Ford, our number two. In the second last episode of season 4 she appeared in Kanye West’s plane as a Flight Attendant. I know I know, she didn’t appear to be “with” Vinnie… but I’m pretty sure she was servicing him after the scene changed.
